My administration is starting a new task-force. A.R.R.T ( Aeriel rapid response team)

Stopping a forest fire in its infancy before it spreads into a large--scale destructive and deadly wild fire is our new focus with advanced technology.

The money we spend on just one year of dealing with forest fires, we will use that same amount to create ever-lasting Fire-Tower structures across our state as well as new aerial water dropping planes placed in our heavily forested areas. These Fire-Towers will be strategically placed miles apart across out state. Each fire tower having aerial water-dropping craft fully loaded and ready to go.

Also, our Ariel Rapid Response Team will be patrolling the skies non-stop during the short fire season each year. Trust me, the benefits will far out weigh the costs. We now have satellites that can detect the start of a fire within 9 minutes. Once we get that notification of a new fire we will immediately call all surrounding water-dropping and flame-retardant planes immediately to that location as well as call on every fire-tower within a radius to rapidly put out that fire. A bombardment of a fire-killing arsenal is on its way. We will dramatically be increasing the odds that these fires will be put out while still in its infancy.

Think of those fire-towers in The Lord Of The Rings stationed miles away across mountain tops. The quickest of being alerted and having a fire-depressing army wins the battle. We will implement a similar situation across our heavily forested mountains with the main goal stomping out that fire in the very early stages. We will invest heavily in new high-tech aircraft used to quickly battle fires and keep those craft stationed around our state and immediately ready to battle.

Fires do not stop at the boarders. WA and CA must work together with Oregon to help prevent these raging fires that spread from state to state. We will be creating a wild-fire Taskforce unlike no other. With the combined forces of the 3-State-Solution, we can combine technology, robotics and Infrared flame detector cameras that will be strategically placed throughout our forests to catch small fires before they become too big and unstoppable.

Every single year we spend billions of dollars in dealing with these wild-fires. It's an unnecessary waste that we will never see again. We can spend that same amount in a one-time cost and deal with it going forward while at the same time saving our climate.
