Power to the People

State ballot amendments are too limited in terms of what the people really want and they are not held often enough.

We are going to build a state-wide public voting website that the public can vote and watch in real time.

Each registered Oregon citizen gets to vote on any subject when a decision is being made on by the state and if the public vote total goes over 75% opposing what is being voted....then it overrides State Congress/legislature and the Governors decision.

Give power back to the people. They elected us into office because of their wants and needs.

NOT ours. We need to listen to them.

We will have the most secure firewall in place to prevent voting manipulation, double voting and fraud of any type.

We are going to implement "What do you want?".

Oregonians will have greater control and have their voices heard on what matters most to them.....for the first time ever giving power to the people. No longer do they have to wait so long for a ballot measure to come up once a year that has nothing do with what the reality of their everyday lives.

Since every county is different and each county has their own certain issues and needs, there will be a county-by-county vote on what subject matter to take up that are most important to them.

How does it works?

Every registered Oregon citizen can give a recommendation on what should be an issue to tackle. Then every citizen can, in their respective county can vote for ideas that resonate with them.

There will also be a cost analysis given for each of the top 10 ideas with the most votes to put it in perspective of implementing those ideas as well as recommendations on how to pay for it (raising taxes or cutting taxes from somewhere else in order to fund). By the end of the year each county tally's their vote total and the top-2 ideas that gets the most votes gets to be implemented.
